profile

With 20 years of legal experience, John developed an extensive practice focusing on civil and commercial litigation. He moved to south central Kansas in 2009 to join what was then Stull Law Office. John develops long-term client relationships across the state with his reputation for perfectionism, attention to detail, and curiosity.

John is an accomplished civil and commercial litigator, representing clients in all stages and areas of general litigation in both state and federal court. He has successfully navigated real property and property line disputes for his clients. John provides strategic and legal advice to several economic development corporations and municipal governments and has served as city attorney for several cities. John also represents several Kansas community development corporations.

He is admitted to the Kansas Bar, United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. John is a Kansas State University and Washburn University alumnus and spent three years in Topeka advising clients on the finer details of the legislative process and state policy.

Originally from the Kansas City area, he is an everything Kansas City baseball superfan. In fact, his youngest son’s name was inspired by one of the area’s historic baseball players, Leroy “Satchel” Paige. John and his wife, Tracey, attended law school together and share of love of Golden Retrievers and the outdoors. When not in the office, you can find John cheering one of his three children at a ball field or beside a wrestling mat.
